The Spannuth family from Reading, PA created the crunchiest, tastiest pretzels you will ever experience. While baking, the pretzels split open into deep cracks and crevices giving them the most wonderful flavor you will ever taste. With their rich caramel color and crunchy texture, we promise that you will keep your hand reaching back into the bag for more.
Our bakery has been in our family for six generations starting back in the late 1800's. Our "Splits" have gained popularity and credits all over the world which, by the way, is where we ship them. Through the years, other bakeries have tried to imitate our "Splits" without success. We are the original bakers of the split-open pretzel.
