Who is eligible for Flat Rate Ground Shipping?

Flat Rate ground shipping applies to customer deliveries in the lower 48 states and the District of Columbia. Unfortunately, we cannot offer Flat Rate ground shipping to Alaska and Hawaii at this time.

Are there any products that are restricted?

Because of the size, weight, or "dimensional weight" of certain products, Flat Rate shipping may not apply to all items. Any items that are exceptions to the Flat Rate ground shipping promotion will be indicated accordingly in the Shipping tab of that product's details page. Exceptions will also be noted in the main product details section.

Are all orders $3.99 ground shipping?

While there is no minimum purchase required to get $3.99 shipping, we do have certain thresholds that will incur additional shipping charges. These hurdles are based on product weight, and can generally be thought of in terms of cases of snacks. On average, you will be able to order at least three cases of most snacks and still pay $3.99 shipping. After that there are additional thresholds based on weight, as follows:

0 - 30 lbs - $3.99
31 - 50 lbs - $12.99
51 - 70lbs - $16.99
71 - 90 lbs - $20.99
91+ lbs - $24.99

While the weights are not displayed in the cart, the product weight is displayed in the product description as a guide to the total order weight. Note that most orders will qualify for $3.99 shipping, but if you ever have any questions, feel free to contact us directly before ordering.

What shipping method is used for Flat Rate ground shipping?

The Ground shipping method is chosen at our discretion, but we typically ship via UPS Ground. In some cases, typically for smaller items, we use the US Postal Service. For stock inventory items, your order typically ships the same business day if placed before 12:00 p.m. Central, Monday through Friday. We will email an order confirmation and shipping confirmation with tracking information as soon as your order ships.

Will this promotion run indefinitely?

We will evaluate the timing of the promotion as the deadline approaches, and communicate any changes at that point. Please sign up for our email list if you'd like to be alerted to the changes in the shipping promotion.

Why aren't you offering Flat Rate shipping to Alaska and Hawaii?

While we try to make shopping with us a very cost effective experience, the costs to ship outside the lower 48 is very expensive. To keep prices low for everyone, we are forced to charge for shipping to these locations. We will continue to look for options to allow us to include our friends in Alaska and Hawaii, and will notify you as soon as we have a program available.
